Cord keepers, I think, are what you're talking about. They're generally
used to keep groups of cords (ie, the many cords you have w/ desktop
computers, etc) in a bundle, rather than laying around in a tangled
mess.

If you can't find anything like that, you could use some very narrow
PVC pipe, or something of that sort. Slice a slot along one side of the
tubing of your choice, to make it easier to put the cords in it - you
can slide them in through that slice, meaning you won't have to buy
tubing wide enough to get the plug though (which would also be the
right size for a fuzzy to get it's head stuck in, causing yet another
crisis).

Bitter apple worked for us on other things we didn't want them to chew,
although we didn't have a serious chewing problem w/ wires to begin w/.
The cream worked better than the spray. Stays on better, doesn't wear
off a easily as the spray seems to.

If you have a ferret specific room, you could also find a way to keep
cords away from the floor as best as possible. Our ferret room has wall
fixtures on all the walls, so there are no lamps, etc, w/ cords in the
room. The only time we plug anything in is when we plug in the vacuum
cleaner to clean cages, & that's plugged in for less than 2 min or so.

Hope this was some help. Good luck!
