Just wanted to get this off my chest/mind or whatever.

We were in the local Petco a few days ago. They were cleaning the
octagon TANK, that the 3 young adults and any others before or to follow
w/b housed in. The 3 were being contained in a very small cage, and
trying so hard to get out of there, i got to hold one of them, and ALL HE
WANTED TO DO WAS GET DOWN! ! I really don't know, but will ASSUME ( and
you know what they say about that word), that these little ones do not
get any play time outside of that tank.

Well, it pained me in my heart to leave them there, but i have not seen
any kits since they were pulled a few weeks back, for treatment? IF my
memory serves me correctly. I still want to just take all 3 of them home
with me, so they can greet, meet, and play with the gang of free roamers
i already have. They would be so much happier.

Chuckling, they had another girl cleaning the ferret TANK, while ms.
attitude was cleaning the guinea pig TANK. I think she recognized me :-)

Still heartbroken over losing my Bandit. Always missing, Athena,
Odysseus, Felicia, Diana, Roxie, Angel AND BANDIT!!!

My deepest sympathies for Spirits mommie, and Chili's too, and all of you
who have lost one of these wonderful, joy evoking little ones.

My Sadie is adrenal, she is going for surgery in August, and it looks
like Puma is developing into an adrenal case too? He is losing fur off
the ridge of his back? (adrenal? symptom or other?) Sadie lost it on
her shoulders, and the others, on their backsides, so i am getting a good
intro to adrenal signs. Clover went to see Dr. Regner, and she thinks
she is about 4-or older, Clover is very quiet, but she is also very
fragile. Got any suggestions to fatten her up a bit, she loves Purina
Kitten chow the best, but offer the chicken baby food on the side and
nutrical. I don't think i am ready for anymore losses this year. It has
been a sad early spring in our house.

regards
donna
