Dr. Williams and other veterinarians on List:
Have you had experience with chronic renal failure in ferrets? Champ has
been diagnosed and my vet is interested in discussing it with other vets
who have dealt with it. He hasn't seen too much of it in ferrets but is
quite experienced with it in cats and dogs. I prefer that he talk to vets
who I know are ferret specialists.

Bloodwork pointed to renal failure. A urinalysis determined it is chronic.
An ultrasound ruled out other possible kidney problems. Champ's recent
adrenal surgery apparently brought this problem to the forefront. He is
currently receiving fluids at the vets' office and will probably stay
there a couple of days.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Katharine
