I have just been overwhelmed today by the compassion of the people on the
list.  Even though (and luckily, I guess) the pet I lost was not a ferret,
but a lizard, I have received many heart-felt condolensces.  Each one has
made me crack a smile with tears running down my cheeks.  I have no doubt
now that Niko will be waiting (im)patiently for me to arrive at the Bridge
with a can full of earthworms!
 
Ferret people truly are great!  Thanks everybody!
