Here is the latest with regard to the Utah Ferret killing case..... Jose
Martinez did not show up for his initial court date for Misdemeanor (class
A) Animal Cruelty in Sept 98 but later turned himself in and is scheduled
for sentencing on 12-21-98 at 9 a.m.
 
The second defendant Armondo Sandoval has elected to go to trial related to
his Misdemeanor  (class A) Animal Cruelty which starts on 1-20-99 at 9am...
 
Mr. Sandoval has an another court date on 11-6-98 for the felony charge of
Tampering With A Witness which involved Sandoval trying to intimidate the
witness to the ferret killing.  It is assumed that Sandoval will also opt
for a jury trial for this offense as well.
 
There is also a civil suit pending against Sandoval but no court dates have
been scheduled so far....
