I'm not a shelter owner but I have a response to your post... I actually
read this post several times to make sure I was getting all the information
there. Am I getting this right... Some rescue group shelled out $200
of their own money to rescue a ferret that they thought was in a bad
situation. They are taking this ferret to the vet. One specific person in
this group wants to make this ferret theirs and bring it into their home.
You are a shelter mom right? One think I'm not clear on, Did they ASK you
to buy the ferret from them? If so the rest of my post doesn't apply.

I don't get it. Why would you be going out of your way and stepping on
these people's toes to get a ferret that sounds like he has found a caring
and loving home. It seems like your time and energy would be better spent
worring about ferrets that are still in the type of situation that this
ferret WAS in before. If you think this person is such a terrible ferret
mom, why don't you try educating her so that her other two ferrets can
benefit as well. Maybe they won't do a FANTASTIC job, but it's got to be
better than a shelter situation.

This is my opinion, and if I misread your post I apoligize for the tone of
my post, but it kind of ticked me off.
