"Oh what a beautiful morning! Oh what a beautiful day!
I've got a wonderful feeling, everything is going my way!"

I sometimes sing to myself when I think no one is around to hear me.

I am so happy today because Muldoone is awake! He is his old hammie
headed, silly boy self and I couldn't be happier to have him back with
us!! He will be back to his antics in no time and I for one cannot wait
to see what kinds of 'trouble' errr...'mischief' he stirs up... He always
makes me laugh!

I have a new arrival to greet at the Rainbow Bridge. His name is
PoohBear and he had to leave his very sad Mom Becky and his Sissy behind.
Miss Becky seemed nervous that PoohBear might not have realized how much
she loved him.

Well, Becky, let me share this with you, maybe it will ease your
sorrow... ALL creatures know love. They all know the happiness and joy
of love that fills their hearts and souls. PoohBear knows that you love
him, I promise you this. He will be content to wait here to be reunited
with you one day. He will fill his days with laughter and play
surrounded by creatures who also love him. So don't be too sad, you will
see your PoohBear again. And he'd be very happy to know that he taught
you what the love of a ferret is all about and that because you knew him
you would continue to foster other ferrets in need of a loving home.

Well, I have to get over to the Bridge now, PoohBear will be here very
soon.

  **********************************************************************

Later on, at the bridge............

As I sat waiting on my favorite bench, feeling the warm afternoon sun on
my shoulders, I dozed off. I was having a wonderful dream about my Fancy
Ferret. She was hugging me and smoothing my coat. She told me how much
she loved me and missed me. It was almost as if she were right here with
me...it was so real.

I stirred as a warm breeze swept over me. I opened my sleepy eyes and
glanced over at the Bridge to see a handsome male ferret crossing over.
I knew this was PoohBear. I got up from the bench and walked over to my
side of the Bridge, as PoohBear approached me he extended his paw saying
"Hi! My name's Pooh. Is this the Rainbow Bridge?"

I took his paw in mine, "Yes it is! My name is Musty Pete, I am a Bridge
Greeter."

PoohBear was awestruck at the beauty of this place. He stood and stared
at the clear blue skies with a few puffy wisps of cottony clouds, he
admired the rainbow that spanned the entire community and marveled at
the vast array of wild flowers and flutterbies.

"Wow! It is really beautiful up here....it's everything I imagined it
would be!" he exclaimed.

"Yes, it sure is pretty." I agreed

"So? What do I do now, Pete" asked PoohBear

"Well, I will take you to orientation, and we'll have a quick tour, then
we will find a place for you to live, and I will introduce you around and
finally we'll get some dinner." I replied

"Sounds like a plan." said PoohBear, adding "I can't believe how good I
feel! All of my pain is gone! And I feel young again!"

"That's what this place does for you PoohBear. It makes you whole again,
takes away your sorrows and your troubles. It is truly a wondrous place.
Shall we get started?" I asked

And we began walking towards Francis Ferret's purple cottage for
orientation. I pointed out landmark's like The Meadows and The Great
Pool Of Remembrance along the way. I told Pooh how he could come here
and 'view' his earth family, he thought that was such a great thing!
PoohBear will be fine up here...I hope Miss Becky knows that.
