Hello all ~

Someone asked about ferrets and dogs. Good old Houdini, a ferret we had
15 years ago loved our dogs. At that time we had Old English Sheepdogs
and Labs. He loved both of them. He belonged to our housemate, and
would routinely depart every weekend on the back of a motor cycle in a
little picnic basket his fur flapping in the breeze going nana-nana to
the doggies as he flew out of the farm gate.

Currently my little girl Miss Jazzy just walks underneath of our Cocker
Spaniel who looks down at her like "Who is this?" The spaniel came from
Cocker Rescue with a little toy skunk. Jazzy loves to run away with his
skunk and that's the only thing that gets him awake...yeowwww...skunk
crossing!!

Jazz also likes the baby pigs and the soft gentle goats (who are one of
the most wonderful caretakers in the world).

There are so many ferrets in need out there it breaks one's heart. I
have a bunny barn (used to raise 23 breeding pairs of bunnies), that I'd
love to convert into a ferret haven...but we're selling the farm soon.
I'll keep acerage in mind tho for something to do in the future.

Thank you all for sharing and for welcoming me here this week!

Warmly ~
Mary
