Last night, my hubby went to gather the ferts and put them back in their
cage. He could not find Marley and Marley does not come to him when
called. I told my hubby "look in the bed right under my pillow, that is
where he goes when he is tired and waits for me to crawl in". My husband
said "no way". Sure enough, there was Marley, looking out wondering why
daddy was bothering him. My hubby asked "what does he do when you crawl
in bed? He certainly wont stay there." I responded, "he does and when I
crawl in bed to read, he just curls up right next to me or against my
leg." Most often, I go to bed and read for an hour before we both go to
bed, then I put Marley in the cage. My hubby seemed upset about this
whole thing so I asked him what the problem was. He told me this, "I am
jealous that Marley has time to cuddle with you and I am jealous that he
prefers you to me." I thought this was so cute, all I could say was
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Marley is a total momma's boy and I am sure that
even though he prefers that spot in the bed (for whatever reason) he also
enjoys our cuddle time. This is the first ferret I have had that does
this. For all you perverts, I sleep in pyjamas, LOL! Many of you
probably have similar stories about the special things your ferts do. I
just had to share the reaction from my hubby because I found it so cute.

Also, those of you who are still looking for lodging in Vegas (and you are
not already at the Imperial Palace), I searched high and low for a good
place to stay at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, that being Superbowl
weekend, has jacked rates through the roof and made it difficult (some
places are already full). However, you can stay at the Stratosphere and
Circus Circus for an average of $65 per night. I am paying $19 for
Thursday night and $79 for each additional. I found rate comparisons on
Expedia and all were cheaper than calling the casinos directly. Expedia
buys blocks of rooms. I also had my sister-in-law (travel agent)look for
stuff for me and all she came up with was the same, with the exception of
a place called Westward Ho, which is the "hidden secret" amongst travel
agents. It was less than $65 per night and the rooms are remodeled and
clean. I would have stayed there but my hubby wants to stay in a major
casino. People don't always realize that in Vegas, you are never in your
room except to sleep - LOL. Clean is all I care about. Convenience is
nice also, but bus service is frequent and cheap.

Anyway, just thought I would save some others the hassles I went through
in searching for a place to stay. Hopefully, many of you will attend the
conference. I can't wait!

Take care~

Danielle "the absentee celebrity of APF" LOL! Still.
