The New Jersey Division of the Legion of Superferrets will hold a rabies
clinic on Sunday, January 11, 1998. This is open to all ferrets in NJ. The
fee will be $10 per ferret. There is no limit as to how many ferrets you
may bring to the clinic, but you must RSVP so the vet knows how many
vaccines to bring. Dr. Goodman of Plainfield Animal Hospital will be
administering the shots. A few general guidelines:

1. Please make sure your animal is healthy before bringing it. It is not
fair to the other ferrets to have to be exposed to illness, and not healthy
for your ferret to be vaccinated while feeling under the weather.

2. No pregnant or lactating Jills.

3. If your ferret has had a reaction to vaccinations before, this is not an
appropriate time to have him vaccinated. Please make arrangements with your
private vet for vaccination under these circumstances.

4. The clinic will be held in North Brunswick. Directions will be sent to
you as part of the confirmation after you RSVP.

5. You don't need to be a member of LOS-NJ to participate, this is a service
open to all ferrets in the state.

Please respond prior to 1/5/98.

Thank you.
