RE: Ferret reading.
Oh, you guys think you've got problems. The books I found under the bed
were "The Robber Bride" (about a woman who wreaks havoc in the lives of
everyone she meets), "Stranger Beside Me" (a biography of serial killer
Ted Bundy), a box of Trivial Pursuit cards (Silver Screen edition), and
Nietzche's "Beyond Good and Evil."

Who'd have thought my ferret was an existentialist philosopher? I would
imagine she'd be a utilitarian (as J.S. Mill might say, "Let ferret fun be
done, though the heavens may fall! Consequences be damned, it's dookin'
time!").

RE: Rainbow Bridge.
Just a brief two cents: Dervish tells me that she plans to forgo the
Rainbow Bridge and just take over Valhalla ... she'll show those silly
Vikings a thing or two! Any strong-willed ferts who have a desire to wear
little hats with pointy horns are free to join her Ferrety Crusade.
(Marshall does offer Viking ferret hats, don't they?)

Uh oh ... I feel the unmistakable lick-lick on my foot that can only lead
to a CHOMP. Perhaps I've said too much.
