I've not notice anyone post on a ticklish ferret before and wonder how
common it is.  If I scratch Rover quickly on the shoulders with
alternate fingers (like I was drumming the table top), he arches his
back into the scratch and fluffs up his tail like a scrub brush.
Sometimes he even alternately raises a paw like cats sometimes do.
Whereas I would normally interpret a fluffed tail to be anger, this
isn't apparently the case.  When I stop scratching, he gives a little
shiver and comes back for more. We can keep this up for several minutes
before he has decided that he has had enough.
