Please feel free to email or call Helen and let her know you are
praying for her. Her ordeal, hopefully, will soon be over... All
my trials, Lord...

Subject: Not Ferret Related UpDate on my Stem Cell Transplant.

Hello All,

Please continue to keep me in your prayers, my medicine came. I start
my shots tomorrow the 21st and I go to the hospital on the 25th for
blood work. I have to be there by 8 a.m., so that means getting up at
5 a.m. again and fighting that Pittsburgh traffic.

If my blood work is good and my white cell count is up they will put
the port in and take my cells. If not I have to take a second dose of
this medicine which is called NEUPOGEN. It has some bad side affects
to it and I pray I don't get any of them. I scanned the paper to show
you the side affects.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking
this medicine include bone pain, and fever. If it continues or is
bothersome, check with your doctor.

CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY,

If you experience stomach/abdominal pain, shoulder pain, trouble
breathing, chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, mouth sores, or
severe weakness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact
your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE: INFORM
YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter
medicine that you are taking.

God has been so good to me and I pray I get through this shots without
any side affects and that my white count is up enough to get the port
and my cells taken out.

After that I come home and wait for a couple of weeks and then I go in
the hospital for Chemo. They have decided to keep me since I don't have
anyone to stay with me down there or here at home 24 hours a day. After
a couple of weeks or so I get my cells put back in.

Thank you all for your prayers and all your support and wonderful
emails and encouragement.

God Bless Each and Everyone Of You
Hugs Love and Prayers
Helen
