Hello There,
 
I am traveling to Phoenix, Arizona via Interstate 10 from Southern
California in ten days.  I will have my little buddy fuzzy with me.  I
need to know if I will be checked leaving California.  If so, how do I
get around the border with my masked accomplice.
 
Also, I will be returning very reluctantly to this divine state in three
or so weeks and need to know how I re-enter this state via Interstate 10
without having my one pound wildlife ravaging bundle of joy confiscated.
Is there a frontage or back road I can take?
 
In the past, I have always gone the northern route thru Reno & know how
to safely cross that way.
