Hello. Fuzzbutt Mikette here!

Me and my sisters probably get bathed once a year. Mom first gave me a
bath when I was a kit. I explained I didn't really need one but she
didn't understand ferretspeak yet. When we got my baby sister (she had
pet store stink) she got a bath. A year later when Jillie came along
from a shelter we all got a bath (misery does not always like company)
so that we'd stink, I mean smell, the same.

Mommy just cleans our stinky ears a lot (it's a good stink, but it's
still a stink). She changes our bedding a lot, because oddly it does get
a bad stinky smell. Hmmm, wonder why. Sometimes if company is coming
she will spray our bedding (or sometimes a brush for us - yuck!) with
ferret deoderant spray. She likes the 8 in 1 Ferretsheen.

Mom's thinking about giving us all a bath since it's been a year and
thinks we could use a good fresh start again. We've told her we don't
need one, but she is being stubborn. We have a ferret shampoo that
she puts in a small tub of water and we follow that with a ferret
conditioner. We DO NOT enjoy the extra wet time, but the conditioner
helps keep us from getting dry skin.

If you do bathe us fuzzies don't forget to load up the floor with lots of
towels for us to funnel through afterwards!

Dooks!
Mikette
PS A raisin is a good way for a fuzzie to get over the trauma of a bath!
