I will keep this short and simple, and am only posting it to the list
because it is a response to something posted on the list.

The question was, I believe, what people on the FML think of Petco.
Well, mine is as valid an opinion as anyone else's, I'm quite sure.

I hope Danielle read my response to Heather. Perhaps she gained some
understanding from it as well. Both of my posts, though perhaps slightly
misworded on my part, for which I apologized, were civil, to the point,
and mearly an expression of my opinion.

I am neither an ostrich nor one who doesn't "truly care about ferrets" or
even all animals for that matter. The fact that I disagree with your
methods do not make me either of those things, nor do they make me any
kind of bad person. I never said anything mean, spiteful or hurtful
about anyone who does things in a way with which I do not agree, I simply
said I do not agree with the way they are done.

I also made it clear that I commend those efforts, whether I agree with
the methods or not.

You can disagree with me all you want, but questioning my feelings about
animals because I do not agree with you is hardly appropriate, and a
thing which I find particularly insulting. Resorting to insults of that
nature has no place in what was a civilized discussion.

You've taken it to the next level, and I see no reason why it should
continue on list. If you have any further nasty-grams for me, please
do it privately.

Melissa
