About the animals and religion topic that's been going on for a bit now.
I guess I'm probably the odd one out. I'm Buddhist . While I studied
and was raised christian I have found that my heart has always followed
the teachings of Buddha. ANYWAY speaking for myself. Ferrets and humans
are one and the same and while we don't believe in a heaven, it is
believed that all creatures are capable of attaining the same level of
existence. I find that comforting, and also more of a reason to teach
those around me that one must respect all life no matter how small or
different, for the greatest potential and well being of all sentient
beings.
