in my experience, flypaper doesn't do a thing to rid the home of gnats--f
you have a SERIOUS gnat problem it does catch and kill some, but in mild
to moderate problems, they seem by and large to avoid it.
 
in a month of using flypaper, i think i accomplished the capture of six
gnats.  i killed far more (instantly and with less struggle, i might add)
with my hands, and might have been equally successful with chopsticks.
