Dear Fellow FMLr's,
It is with deepest regret that I report the passing of our little
developmentally disabled ferret, Peanut Willow. She was only 2 1/2 years
old. She kept her baby face and baby head all of her short life, but once
she learned anything, she was definite about repeating it as often as
possible. She always used her papers, even up to her death, when she could
no longer stand, and just slid her little, fat body backwards to do her
duty. She never learned to eat regular food, always had to be fed on the
kitchen counter with her special baby formula. She did learn to come to a
squeaky toy and insisted on her reward each time. She had an enlarged
heart, which at the end, just gave out. She brought joy and love, tons of
love to our household. She is on my homage now. I worked feverishly
through the day yesterday, to paint her portrait, so she could take her
side by her "daddy" R2.
