Refrigerator doors: make sure the fridge is level.  If the door side is
lower the latch will be weakened.  There are WONDERFUL little child
latches that attach with double sided tape (tape needs replacing every
few years and the belts stretch a bit).  You can find them in catalogs
like "Perfectly Safe" or in toddler safety sections of stores.
 
Jumpstart has a new game that drives Glueball BONKERS!  He stnads in front
of her, facing away, acting like he's ignoring her, and then WHAM!  He
swings his bum and bops her one in the nose with his haunches!
 
Glueball still does not get along with Ashling, but is improving with
Scooter and all the rest like her now.  Best of all she has figured out
communal play, and long-time play, and sleeping right up next to other
ferrets!  (Talk about unsocialized with her own species...)
