hello everyone

i've only posted once before but i love the fml and i just have to share
what our ferret, Tass just did. We were sitting on a couch next to
a large sunny window and calling her. what we didn't notice was that
our shadows were being projected onto the opposite wall. When Tass came
running around the corner of the couch, she saw our shadows moving and
"calling" her and went to the wall instead of us. Then Tim (my SO) waved,
and Tass jumped up and tried to grab the shadow's fingers. It was the most
hilarious thing we've ever seen her do. I know ferrets aren't supposed
to have great eyesight, but the high contrast of dark shadow and light
wall must have easy for her to see. She was a little freaked out when
she turned around and saw us behind her.

By the way, Tass was just diagnosed with a vaginal/urinary tract
infection and is now on Amoxicillin. Does anyone know whether or not
this is common in young, spayed females? Does anyone have litter box
suggestions to keep this from reoccuring? Thanks

Melanie, Tim, and Tass (the shadow boxer)
