I have had four RCFs I love the blood lines. First of all they seem to
be very healthy but are somewhat prone to Cardio problems later on. Most
of the RCFs I have had were bigger than the normal Marshall Farms frets
(altho I now have a very bit chocolate sable M.F. boy named Leo is who
almost a full 5 pounds) In short they seem to be more active and more
full of themselves. They do have a rep for being a bit on the bitey side
but I think that is because they want to play with anyone and everything
they see. I now have a RCF Sable boy named Koda who I was told was the
'runt" of the litter. Ok he is a bit small for a RCF, but he more than
makes up for it by just being Koda! My son Erik, told me one time..Hey
Dad, Not only did you get the runt but ya got the punk as well! LOL. Ok
so I guess that sums it up too. Koda loves Da Popa. When ever I come
into the ferret room Koda is there to greet the Popa. He then proceeds
to climb up da Popa's pantlegs just to nibble a bit ya know!!! Then he
sits there and winks at me to get me to play LEts drag the weasel!! That
game is his favorite I think. I hold my shirt sleeve low enough for him
to grab on then I "drag" him in smal l circles around and around. Then
it goes on with "bowling for Ferrets". Thats kinda self expanitory as
Koda becomes the "hairy Bowling Ball". Be careful here folks. Don't try
this at home Koda and I are "Trained Professionals" LOL. I have had more
fun with this lil guy than what should be allowed. His cagenate and
"brudder" is Leo. Leo is well Leo. Leo is the usuall Choco boy. Laid
back and plays when the mood hit him. He loves our lil girl Freda and
him and her love to take naps together in the o most unusual places.
Makes it a bit hard to find them at times. LOL. I adopted tow older
ferrets from our Local Humane Society. I got them last week and then on
Monday had to take them to the vets as they had some sinius nasties going
on. The woozels got the snoozles as one vet tech put it. Their names
are Clutch and Throttle. That was there names when I got them and since
they seem to know their names I left them with theirs. The vet tech
repeated their names questionly, LOL. and then told them.."Hey guys,
We don't run an auto shop here ya know".

Anyway I hope what info I have given to you will be helpful. Most folks
that I knwo that have RCFs really love them dearly. But they are not
usually a fret for the beginer. Enjoy.

Best Regards to all.
