Apparently, ferrets are the latest pet fad in Shanghai, used by some as
live fashion accessories. I found this article through a Google alert,
and it really angers me. No pet should be used as a style enhancer.

Not to mention the misinformation. You know the type: ferrets bite,
stink, and spread rabies.
