 Thank you for your reply and insight into the problem we are
having with Charlie and his obsession with cylindrical objects.
Now that you have brought it to our attention it does seem like
a sexual thing. When he does his thing he seems to have tunnel
vision and a one track mind.  He is determined to drag Carolyn
behind the refrigerator where he takes every thing that is at all
precious to him. We tried the cylindrical toy but as of today he
is ignoring it. Washing his ears often seems to help, along with
a good whack. Which brings up another question. Do ferrets seem
to have a need to retaliate when they are scolded or when something
is taken away from them ?
 Thanks again and I sure am glad to hear that Fritter is feeling
better. I am not sure I could deal with all of that heartache.
