Hi everybody!

I need some help from the vets on the list.
The problem is that I bought 2 new ferrets 8 weeks old.
They just received a temporary canine distemper vaccination. Now I guess
they should have additional distemper vaccinations at 9, 12, 16 weeks, then
annually.

What kind of vaccine i need to use? Is it the modified live virus of
chicken embryo tissue culture? Am I right?

What about rabbies vaccinations? Since they live indoors, is that really
necessary?

Also, what is the tecnical name for canine distemper? What should I tell my
vet to do? It is VERY important for me to be extremely precise with my vet
because ferrets are not common in Brasil and she is not used to them.
Dr Levine, Dr Dutton, Dr Williams and other vets on the list, any tip?

Thanks for your attention,
Andrea,
Hiccup and Sneeze (the 2 ferrets).
