Hello FMLers,
I was rather suprised when I read this post yesterday....

>Last night I had a fellow exhibitor from the Cinci show call me asking me
>if any of my kids got sick from the show. I of course (and thankfully)
>told her no, my guys were fine. Her on the other hand had a kit that had
>started drooling; was lathargic, eating, drinking & pooping fine; and now
>has started to drag his backend around. All of this (except the hind end
>problem) came about on the Sunday after the show (the next day).... Just
>wondering if any other exhibitors had ill fuzzies or if this was an
>issolated incident (which I think it is).

I was at that show and notices my kids were sick a few days after. Since
it hadn't cleared up even though they were showing signs of improvement,
I decided to take one of them to the vet just to be sure. My vet is
confident it's ECE. They are on amoxycillin, as well as getting my
undivided attention. They were perfectly healthy before the show. Most of
my ferrets are under a year old, so hopefully they'll recover from it with
no problems. But, of course, I'm still really worried about them. If you
were at this show and now your kids are sick, please contact me via ICQ
#1654513. I'm just rather interested in seeing just how many ferrets are
now sick.
