Condolences to those with lost, sick, or angeled sock sniffers...

(Get OUT of that sock! You can sniff it from the OUTside!)

It is strange to me, to see how any people try to "force" their values
and morals on others, in a country that is supposed to be so tolerant.
We have more rights in this country (the U.S.) than anyone anywhere else
in the world. Yet there are always a few people that feel that the way
*they* do things is the only way that's right, and everyone should do it
the same way.

Get off of your high horse, people. No matter *how* you do it, everyone
else has the RIGHT to do it their way. Express your opinion in a manner
that shows that it is *your* opinion, but don't tell someone else that
they have to do, think or feel the way you do.

For the person wanting a home for their ferret, the only thing I suggest
is that they sit down and decide if they want the ferret to go because
they don't want the ferret, or if they are just finding that caring for a
ferret is too hard.

If the ferret isn't wanted, then everyone else should (in my opinion)
just stay quiet and let the ferret find a new home. After all, if we all
love ferrets as much as we say we do, then we should want the ferret to
be in a loving home.

If their ferret's *behavior* isn't wanted, then asking for (and
FOLLOWING) suggestions or direct help would be a better choice. That
way, you can go back to loving your ferret, while eliminating (or
reducing, or learning to live with) the undesired behavior.

Instead of insulting people on here, try to see if you can help.

One final word of advise: if you are going to get ferrets, DON'T BUY
EXPENSIVE THINGS!

**WARNING!** Ferrets are born with a small toolkit that gives them the
ability to destroy almost anything! If you are extremely attached to
your material possessions, either don't get a ferret, or put the item(s)
in a place where no ferret will ever see it. **WARNING!**

Let's all stop trying to push our opinions on everyone else, OK? This is
a country full of freedoms--show a little respect for everyone else in it.
