I had an x-ray taken on Friday, both bones between your elbow and wrist
were clearly broken.  Her hand actually dangles with out aid of a splint.
I know I'd be in complete pain if that ever happened to me.  The was
surprised at Molly's energy level.
 
I had a chance to talk to the Vet yesterday and they are going to pin one
of them (the other will fall into place for healing after that).  They also
need to look into soft tissue damage and of course Nerve damage.  The total
costs for the operation will be $1300 + follow ups (I'd hate to see Vet
bills from Shelters!).  It's a good thing I sold a camera a month ago as it
will be paying for Molly's work (as I told my parents over the phone last
night "See, one hobby is paying for another!  And at least I'll get a lot
more usage out of Molly then I ever did on that Motion Picture Camera!").
