I don't watch Northern Exposure very often, so perhaps I don't know all
the ins and outs, but I happened to catch an episode which features a
bear that the guy in the leather jacket (Ed?) nurtures for a while.
He also brings it to some kind of day care center or school where there
are children, and there is very little uproar.
 
And here I thought bears were WILD animals.
I guess I'm risking my life sleeping with ferrets.
