I need your help! I am new with ferrets. I have just bought my first one
about 5 days ago. She is about 10 weeks old. I plan on letting my ferret
have free roam of the house when she gets used to it.

To help her get used to the house, I let her have free roam of the hallway
and bathroom for about an hour everyday. She is fine when she's in there by
herself but when I go in there with her she attacks me and starts hissing.
And when I pick her up to put her back in her cage she bites my hands. It
has gotton so bad that I usually wear gloves whenever I handle her.

I have been around other ferrets that are the same age and they don't bite
at all. I heard of that stuff called bitter apple but wasn't sure if it
worked. If you have any information that can help me control her biting
and attacking please contact me at [log in to unmask]

Thanks!
