Hi,

I'm really glad that the post was corrected/or at least explained b/c I
was also ready to rant & rave against being bashed for feeding my ferrets
kitten food. I've read numerous articles on line & in magazines stating
that high quality kitten foods are ok to feed them as long as you monitor
their weight, check the ingredients, & give them enough exercise. I
currently feed my 8 ferrets Maxximum Nutrition kitten food f/ believe
it or not Wal Mart ($3.85 per bag) b/c I read the ingredients & compared
it & it's equal to or better than almost all of the ferret foods out
there. The American Ferret Association actually advises against 8-1
ferret food b/c it doesn't have the correct ingredients according to the
chart they have posted on line which I took with me to several stores
while researching into feeding my doll babies. I appreciate anyone's
opinion & am always looking for tips b/c there's always new things to
be learned, but the constant bashing about NUMEROUS subjects on here is
tiresome. Can't we all just act like adults, state our opinions, & move
on, without getting into childish power struggles?

thank you
