Hello All

I'm one of those "listening" listers. I rarely post, but I thought
somebody out there could give me some advise.

I have a ferret Io and she has been tentatively diagnosed as having adrenal.
(first surgery was cancelled and is now having it next week)

She has a persistent cough. It's a bit of a hack and she's had it pretty
much since I had her ( 2 years). the vet thinks it's just a reaction to
ferrets always sticking their noses into things, but I'm not convinced.
Anybody have any ideas? I'd really appreciate the insight.

Io has many nickmanes some of which are Iolanthe, E.I.E.I.O ( old
macdonald), my RRSP, ( they like to use up my savings!), mommy's ferret
baby, little sister ( as in talking to the dog, don't grab the tail of your
little sister!) I.O.U., Nasty ( usually when she nips) and of course all
the generic names such as sweetiepie, homeybunch, etc etc. ( I'm told I
need kids! people just don't understand that I already do!)

DiDi, our eldest ferret has many the same generic nicknames as Io, but DiDi
is a nickname for Aphrodite. -It was just to much to call a ferret by such
a long name! All of our animals as named after mythological (?) gods..
Also, DiDiDiDiDiDiDiDiDididididi -until you get tried of saying it.
Monster, rodent, ( always feel that I have to state that yes, I know they're
not rodents!)weasel, cutie, sweetie etc etc
