Has there been any hypothesis on a viral link to adrenal disease? This may
sound funny, but last spring my "Cinnamon" had her remaining adrenal gland
removed (she is bi-lateral and doing great), within a week we received 2
"new" ferrets and now they are both exhibiting symptoms of the disease. The
female is about 3 years old and the male around 2, so they are of typical
age.

Also, someone recommended checking a local Vet School for adrenal prices,
that it should be cheaper. This has not been my experience her at Auburn.
It seems to be a little more expensive, but you are paying for what the
person knows, not what they do. If a person has more experience, you can
expect to pay a little more.
