Great ferret lady, Linda Iroff, takes the time to continue to educate the
petstores, wonderful ideas, and for those who just out of curiosity drop in
the stores to see what they have may want to use a couple of her hints,
they are friendly and may get it going for more responsible pet sales. One
of the greatest things I could think of would be to post the FML address
for customers to learn more how to take care of ferrets and for help.

For the problem with odors. I am extremely sensitive to odors and fear for
Ajax to come because he is going to stay a boy as long as I can tolerate it
because I hear of all the benefits it does him (wouldn't know this but
through FML). I quit bathing my girls except when they do get into
something (an overturned coke that "they" feel they can wipe up on their
own), and that is usually a wet washrag. I also found that IAMS kitten
food changed the smell of their stools as well as BO but now they are on
Totally Ferret and the odor is returning a little but for health benefits
will stay on it. I also have two air purifiers - hadn't been giving them
much credit but now figure I should - they are on low night and day (den is
20x24). I removed the carpet and have room side rugs over vinyl (which has
been more fun watching them try to run on vinyl and they still get to rub
their bodies on rugs when they wake up) I have to clean poop stations once
a day and I never fail to ask a visitor to be candid, does it stink. So
far I have had no one say it did, UPS guy acted like I was trying to lure
him in but I just wanted his opinion, I was not lonely.

Questions on the names my pets have:
I started out with foods. I had Sugar & Honey (horses, one white, one
sorrel - guess which has which name) and I still have them. I still have
the cats, cookie, Crackers, Muffin, lost Taffy. For the dogs, I had 4
Dachshunds, Peanuts, Puddin, Peaches & Pumpkin. My granddaughter got this
started when I got custody of her and gave her her first dog Comet, the
Golden Retriever. I lost all my Dachshunds and then wanted a dog of my
own - Great Dane DRano, who gets along with the ferrets beautifully, then
you heard me mention the chawawa Brillo, me and him are a personality clash.
I did not intend to get all these ferrets but .....and thus the cleaning
rage goes on. I am expecting two new ones, will check personalities before
the naming - some are boy names, some girls - Ajax, tough, boyish, Ammonia,
stinky but active, Easy Off, the easiest sweetest ferret this side of
Heaven, Cascade, beautiful but aloft. We will see.

Thanks again to the FML, it has been a service to ferret owners and those
who want to "take up the habit". And I didn't think "I" needed a computer,
what would I ever use it for, silly me.

Millie & her cleaning crew
Easy Off: the most perfect ferret in the whole wide world
Ammonia: here Easy Off, stand on this shelf, now put your paws up here
on this crystal vase and give a little push like this. Ough Oh!
Cascade: the observer. I'm gonna play in the potty box and if I can
find some raw garlic, I'm gonna eat it, then see if she wants to kiss
Ajax: yet to come. What, Mama, my teeth aren't that big, its not time
to go, please tell me it isn't time yet, they aren't ready for me.
