Do ferrets mourn?

We just lost a ferret,Slinky, on Sunday and one of the three remaining
ferrets, Pinky, appears to have lost his appetite and is moping around.
This is a change in behavior for him.  My question is could he be mourning
(in his way) the loss of Slinky?  Since it is a change of behavior, he
could be sick, but I am not sure.  Any ideas?  Do ferrets exhibit mourning
behavior?
