I've had good success with this little trick: draw a small quantity of
Ferret Linatone or Ferretone into the syringe first.  In your case please
make it a really small quantity as Linatone can have a bit of a laxative
effect.
 
Also, in the future, if you have a good compounding pharmacy in your area
they may be able to mix the meds with flavoring which is more palatable to
Teddy.
