Hi folks. This may seem like the wrong time of year to be dealing with
this, but nevertheless I have a question. My vet says to use Heartgard for
cats (5 to 15 lb, chewable), and use half a tablet for the dose. Well, the
FAQ recommends a vet-made preparation of the same medication so that you
have more consistency, and I believe prior testing of the ferrets. Your
thoughts and experience, please. Which preventative method is best and
easiest, or does it really matter which one you use, and do the farts really
need to be tested first? My boys (2.5, 3.5, and 4 lbs.) go for leashed
walks in the yard where mosquitos visit us.

Thanks!
Shelly
