Just got a new ferret (found by local Animal Control) and he is a
sweetheart.  Took him to the vet and he got a clean bill of health with one
exception.  The vet found a single earmite egg.  We started him on Tresaderm
(?) and he'll get a drop in each ear for ten days, then ten days off, then
ten more days on.  For now he is being cages seperately and in another room.
When will it be safe to introduce him to the other ferrets without the
danger of exposing them to the mites???
