It never ceases to amaze me that something can be in the same place forever,
but if it is moved one centimeter, a ferret will find it immediately!!!!
they find changes amazingly fast!!!!  I don't know how often I've
accidentally moved a box or something and found Merlin happily on the plant
table digging away to his heart's content.  Or how one of the visiting
ferrets found the kitchen drawer (usually velcro'd shut) left unsecured and
was up on the counter happily knocking off everything in his path.
 
I think some ferrets must have about 100 lives, and some of their
'adventures' take months off our lives. You can never be too careful;
ferret guardian angels must be exhausted by the end of the day!!!
