Hi everybody

I've got a question regarding Ferretone and whether it's "safe" to give
it to the ferrets. I often read that you should avoid ferret foods that
contain BHA, BHT or the other preservative (can't remember the name). So I
looked at the foods and treats my kids got and I noticed that Ferretone had
both BHA and BHT. I looked at skin and coat supplemets (containing mainly
cod liver oil) that you can get for cats and dogs and they all have those
strong preservatives in.

Is it worth giving Ferretone to the ferrets? I do like their coats when
they get it but is it likely to harm them long term?

Thanks for all answers in advance.

All the best to evrybody and their kids from
Ulrike and the 12 fur kids
