Cassidy had a splenectomy around Thanksgiving and recovered wonderfully but
his hair still hasn't completely grown back.  How long should this take?  It
seems like it got to a certain point and stopped growing.  Also, sometimes
he acts like he is chewing but there isn't anything in his mouth.  Has
anyone else experienced this (He has done this since I got him last Feb.)?
 
One last question.  Does anyone know of a good ferret vet in the Charlotte,
NC area?  I take him to my parents cat vet who performed the splenectomy and
he is wonderful but he hasn't had as much experience with ferrets as I would
like.
