Hi
I am new to this forum, but I have been reading everything listed for the
last couple of days, crying bitterly over some and laughing out loud at
others. I do not own a ferret yet, but my daughter does (3) and I really
enjoy them. I am appalled at some of the things that are being done to
these beautiful little creatures, in the name of the law! Every creature
that has teeth, (man included) has the potential to bite and, in the right
circomstances such as play or fear, will. I, as well as my friends, have
carried numerous bites and scratches from playing with my cats and NOT ONCE
has anyone suggested that they needed to be either quarantined for X amount
of days or killed to see if they have some kind of disease. Hell, my
daughter had to be taught not to bite when she was a toddler. Those IDIOTS
that are trying to keep ferrets illegal in California need to think about
that. Thanks for listening (or reading) to my gripes.
