       New Jersey is now a quarantine state, effective immediately.

This morning I spoke with Dr. Sorhage who makes rabies policy and she was so
impressed by the "excellent body of work" presented by the Rupprecht team
that she issued immediate policy change.  Those manning the Health Dept.
phones had already been told and even as we spoke the letters were printing
out from her to go to the local health deptments.
 
Right now Anne Ryan is making up a press release for N.J. media.
