I'd just like to say thank you to all those people who e-mailed me about my
cage size and toys problem.  I got some very helpful replies.
 
I'm sorry I wasn't more specific though, so here are some more details: The
existing rabbit hutch is about 4' x 1.5' x 1.5' .  My ferret is male and has
just turned one.  He is able to play outside his hutch for 2 hours a day in
a ferret proofed room.
 
I have decided to build another cage (unless anyone here has a spare cage
going quite cheaply and lives in New Zealand), for them and attach it to the
side of my existing hutch.  This area will be for toys.  I am going to get a
female sable ferret for Tiko to play with.
