Just to join the forces, last week I sent a nice but forceful letter to the
Sierra Club President, resigning my membership immediately.  I also sent
copies to Jeanne Carley, Ferrets Anonymous, and the Legislative Office of
Sierra Club in Washington.  I quoted the Encyclopedia Britannica's statement
on domestic ferrets not being able to survive in the wild for more than a
few days.  Who knows - if enough of us do just one little something, maybe
it will help.  How can California allow so many STRANGE things to go on
there, and not allow little ferrets?  It boggles the mind!
