I wanted to send out a very grateful thank you to our moderator, Bill
Gruber, who has helped us all every single day for a great many years
now (more years than the original moderator, Chris Lewis, worked to get
the FML to us all).  There have been only two FML moderators since its
birth (Steve and I having been around all that time so knowing that for
sure...) and that is amazing given how long the list has been around
and how many members it has.  Oh, and even before Bill became the FML
moderator he helped the FML membership in other ways including creating
the anonymous feature for those in FFZs.  BTW, did you know that the
typical lifespan of a list with a thousand or more members is only one
year?  What year are we in now?  17!  Just call up the original one --
back when ignorance was the norm -- and you'll see the FML began and has
run steadily -- without break -- since Dec 21, 19:14 1987.  BTW, no other
ferret list has been around as long.  One existed before then but stopped
for very extended periods and was restarted by new people at least twice.
 
Hey, the FML is older than some of its members!
 
Bill, you work your tail off to help ferrets.  Thanks so very much for
doing so!
