Hi everyone!
 
I am new to ferrethood (about 7 mos.) and just entered my first show --GCFA--
this weekend.  I am having second thoughts about taking my ferrets even
though I entered them because I will be away on vacation shortly thereafter.
 
Could someone please tell me what the likelihood is of them contracting ECE
from the show?  (Both are less than a year-old.)
 
How long is the incubation period?  That is, if they were exposed, how long
would it take for symptoms to appear?
 
What preventative measures can I take against contracting ECE if they do go
to the show?
 
I wouldn't be so paranoid about this except that I won't be home to watch
over them and take care of them if something should happen.
 
I'd appreciate any thoughts and comments you may have.
