I had ringworm when I was a kid and the dr tried everything too.  A very
dear grandma told my Mom to soak tobacco in water, (keep it in a jar)
then 3x a day put the ringworms, discard the stuff after you use it.  I
know it sounds gross, but it really worked for me.  I will get my old
remedy/cookbook from the Presidents Wives and look up some more on it
(this has all kinds of stuff in it).
