Well the vet is stumped by Roxie's illness today.  For those who haven't
seen my earlier posts Roxie is a 3 yo MF sprite who started "listing" and
falling to her side.  She stopped eating and drinking.  She refused to play
and seemed listless.
 
I took her as soon as humanly possible to the vet (my area had a surprise 11
inch snow fall the night roxie got sick).  The woman who runs The Ferret
Gallery where I adopted roxie met me at the vet.  The vet decided to keep
her till today she said then.
 
All she saw wrong with Roxie is she hadn't started blowing her winter coat,
had some ear mites and had a somewhat swollen back leg.  The vet did blood
work and Xray.  Roxie had no blockages (thank god) and tho her glucose was
borderline low the vet thought that was from Roxie's lack of appetite.
 
Well I called today and the vet said she wanted to keep Roxie there till
Sunday cause tho Roxie is now drinking she is barely eating.  Roxie was
before she got sick 1 1/2 lbs and now is down to a pound!
 
Thanks for everyone who wrote me .  I haven't had my isp access till today
cause of this bizarre weather!
