I agree with Mr. Killian that judges and show organizers should look
presentable at a ferret show. Perhaps not "business casual", but at least
have clean, neat clothing free of stains and holes. LIFE at this point
does not address this issue, however it is something that might be
addressed in the future, however more as guidelines rather than rules.

I do want to point out however that LIFE judges are NOT paid for their
services. For some shows judges are given a per diem to help defray travel
expenses, but this is a nominal amount, and is between the show sposor and
the judge. I assume that Mr. Killian was speaking of AFA, as he is not a
licensed LIFE judge and therefore perhaps was not aware of LIFE policies.

I also want to correct Mr. Killian. I am no longer affiliated with LOS, in
fact I am no longer even a member of that organization.

I did not attend the Pennsauken AFA show as I was out of town on business
that weekend, however I would have been interested in attending otherwise.
The only negative comment that I even heard about it was that it ran quite
late.

By the way, for anyone who is interested, I think I can say that the
judging in Croydon was quite fair...as a matter of fact, Vickie McKimmey's
ferret took first place in one of the rings I judged. It was a truly
beautiful ferret and she should be proud of it.
